How do I set up bleed correctly?

Bleed allows artwork to extend past the trim edge, ensuring clean, edge-to-edge printing after cutting.

General bleed guidelines:

  • Bleed must extend beyond the cut line
  • Keep all text and important elements at least 0.125" inside the cut line

Bleed requirements by product type:

  • Standard Products: 0.125" bleed
  • Booklets & Presentation Folders: 0.25" bleed
  • Grand4mat Products: Refer to individual G4Mat substrate FAQs
