What file formats should I upload to Print Cartel?

We strongly recommend submitting your artwork as a PDF. PDF files are the most reliable, process faster, and help avoid production delays.

Accepted file formats include:

  • PDF (preferred)
  • JPG / JPEG
  • TIF / TIFF
  • EPS

Best practices for PDFs:

  • Embed or outline all fonts
  • Flatten all layers before uploading

Roll Label–specific design recommendations:

  • Use vector-based files (EPS or PDF preferred)
  • Set image resolution to 300 DPI or higher
  • Design black text using 100% K only

For fine lines and text smaller than 9pt, use 100% K black exclusively
