File Processing Error
Our system encountered an unexpected error and could not process your file.
Why This Matters for Printing This is a general error indicating that our prepress software crashed or stalled while trying to read your document. This usually means the file is corrupt, was saved in an unsupported format, or contains artwork so complex (millions of vector points or highly intricate effects) that the computers cannot process it.
How to Fix This Issue To bypass this error, we need to simplify the file data:
- Option 1: Flatten Everything: The most common fix is to flatten your artwork. Open your original design, convert all text to outlines, rasterize complex vector shadows or groupings, and export a fresh PDF using the PDF/X-1a:2001 preset.
- Option 2: Save as a High-Res Image: If it still won't process, export your entire design as a flat, high-resolution (300 DPI) CMYK image file (like a TIFF or maximum quality JPEG), and upload that instead.
Need more help? If flattening the file doesn't work, there may be a deeper corruption in your original document. Reach out to our technical support team, and we can help diagnose the file directly!
