Pantone / Spot Colors Detected

Our system detected that your design utilizes PantoneĀ® or Spot colors rather than standard CMYK process colors.

Why This Matters for Printing Standard commercial printing builds full-color images by mixing four standard inks: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (CMYK). Spot colors, like Pantones, are meant for specific, pre-mixed pots of ink. Because this order is set for standard CMYK printing, our system will automatically force-convert your spot colors into a CMYK mix. This can result in unpredictable color shifts, making your final print look different from your original design.

How to Fix This Issue To control exactly how your colors will print, please convert them manually before uploading:

  • Adobe Illustrator / InDesign: Open your Swatches panel. Double-click the Spot color swatch, change the "Color Type" from "Spot Color" to "Process Color," and change the "Color Mode" to "CMYK."
