We Encountered a Font Issue with Your Print File

Our system detected that some of the fonts used in your uploaded file are either missing, not embedded properly, or incompatible with our print software.

Why This Matters for Printing

To guarantee your file prints exactly as you designed it, our commercial CMYK printers need access to the exact font files you used. If a font is missing from the document data, our system may automatically replace it with a standard default font. This can dramatically change how your text looks, alter your formatting, and cause unwanted text overlaps.

How to Fix This Issue

To ensure your design prints flawlessly, please update your file using one of the two most reliable methods below, and re-upload it:

Option 1: Convert Your Text to Outlines (Highly Recommended) This is the safest way to guarantee your text prints perfectly. Converting to outlines changes your text from editable letters into solid vector shapes, meaning the printer no longer needs the font file at all.

• Adobe Illustrator / InDesign: Select all of your text, go to the top menu, click Type, and select Create Outlines (or press Shift + Ctrl + O   / Shift + Cmd + O  ).
• Note: Save a backup copy of your original file first, as you will no longer be able to type or edit the text once it is converted to shapes.

Option 2: Embed Your Fonts If you prefer to keep your text editable, you must ensure your fonts are fully embedded when saving your print-ready PDF.

• When exporting your PDF: Check your export settings and ensure that the "Embed all fonts" option is checked.
• Standard Print Formats: Exporting your file as a PDF/X-1a:2001 or PDF/X-4 format will usually force fonts to embed automatically, making it ideal for CMYK printing.
• Canva Users: When downloading your design, select PDF Print and check the box for "Flatten PDF" before downloading.
