What is overprint, and why is it risky?
Overprint is a design function used to layer inks on top of one another, but if it’s applied unintentionally, it can create color shifts or cause artwork to disappear entirely. This is especially common with logos or small design elements.
One major concern is white text or objects set to overprint — these will vanish completely when printed. We strongly recommend checking your design software to ensure overprint is turned off where it isn’t intended. Flattening layers and converting RGB or Pantone colors to CMYK can further reduce the risk of unpredictable results.
